Being able to field 10 players if needed

Post by igitur » Wed Apr 01, 2009 5:44 pm

I have a request for a feature needed in youth baseball where 10 players are required to fill out a defending team. I would like to assure each player will get props for catches, assists, etc. Please advise. Season starts in a few weeks.

This will be coming out in the release after the one currently being approved. Thank you for submitting a request as this will help us determine the most important features for upcoming releases.

We intend a new release to come out about every 2 weeks.

I'll second this request - that would be very helpful!

Any ETA on when a 10-fielder release for softball teams will be coming out. I plan to buy the program just as soon as that upgrade is made.

You can support 10 batters (or any number of batters) with the current release. It is just the fielding that does not have the 10th player right now. This will not really effect anything other than on defense, if a fly ball is hit to the 10th player, you would have to mark it as caught by someone else. All batting statistics would still be correct.

That being said, the version we are about to release (will be submitted any day now to the App Store) supports 10 players on defense as well. It will be a free upgrade (as they always are) to existing customers.

Thank you.

That's great. Thanks. I bought iScore, have uploaded my team's roster to the server. Also just sent word to our ACSL managers via email and an update on our new league Web page: http://softballsouthamerica.com/2009/04 ... resources/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false
Good luck with development of the application.
I look forward to learning how to use it.

Thank you for getting the word out on that web site.

The release with the 10th fielder and cumulative stats is just about to be released... watch this forum for the announcement. There are many more exciting new features in the upcoming release as well.
