It would be great if there were an easy import feature that would allow you to import rosters from websites without having to type everything in.
For example, I score for a community college team. None of our opponents have iScore because we're required to use a different program for reporting purposes. To get their rosters for iScore I have to manually enter 30 names, numbers, etc. for each team. Even using iscorecentral because tedious at that point.
It would be great if I could simply copy and paste from team websites or pdf files and the program would fill in the vitals for me.

Re: Roster Imports
We have several partners that we do allow importing team rosters from... you can see this by going to Team Manager, Discover Team, and there will be a list of places you can import games from. As you can imagine, each individual website has their own formats for data, IDs for data, etc, so unless we have a partnership with a site, it is not possible just to import random data from any website.
NOTE: If the data is in a nice format, you can sometimes copy/paste the rosters to the "Batch Import" section of the Admin Website.

Re: Roster Imports
I've tried the Batch Import, but 99.9 percent of published rosters list the jersey number first. Meaning I have to go through and edit EVERY entry to move numbers after names. Some teams list H/T, others T/H. Plus I have to delete things like height, weight, class yr., and previous school/hometown.
Re: Roster Imports
As you see.The lack of standards is part of the reason DISCOVER TEAM has such value, besides saving keystokes/time - developers have mapped the format conventions from some major roster source to Iscore.

If you have Excel or another spreadsheet program, you can try importing there and then moving/deleting whole columns at once, then export back to CSV. Certainly faster than editing every entry.
