Last Out Indicator

Post by ChannBecker » Wed Sep 25, 2013 12:36 pm

I've searched the forums for this but have come up empty.

I'd like to see some indicator in the batting lineup for who made the last out. Even showing the last 3 outs.

Maybe a small 1,2,3 in red, or some other highlight, on the line somewhere.

When you tap on a base runner icon, touch courtesy runner,, you will see Last outs
(you will also see last outs when setting up misc> tie breaker). Two common reasons for needing to know last outs

The scorebook view is also always a tap away and show outs..

( The batting line up does not show up on the main scoreing screen on phone's like it does on tablets)

I'm looking for a solution that is faster. having on the screen without having to tap anything would be best.

Scorebook view takes time to pull up.

understand.

just want to be sure you know what does exist....

Scoring screen real estate is limited
developers can put it on their list for future consideration.

Clicking the scorebook slide out takes too long?

The scorebook slideout is not available on my Android tablet. When that feature is included in the Android branch, it might be a viable solution.

When a coach or umpire is wanting the last out information, taking more than a second or two is too long.

Scorebook slideout does help (if available on your device)...but I agree that indicating this on the visible lineup list would be a better option. Put a circle around their number or change their font color to red or something.

What is the use case where last out is specifically needed other than the courtesy runner situation (where it already shows the last 2 outs made)?

That is the use case, but you cant answer the question, "who was last out?" fast enough...entering the information using the Courtesy Runner button is fine.

I'm more concerned with just answering the coaches question quickly.
