Fastpitch Substitution Rules

Post by dfranke » Sun Jun 23, 2013 5:06 pm

Hi, I've been using iScore for a full softball all-star season and loving how it works.

Since the fastpitch substitution rules are different than baseball, it would be really cool if someday iScore could help keep track of those rules and alert the scorekeeper as appropriate. I.e. sending an alert that a player has a re-entry left or is now completely out of the game.

Thanks for considering it and thanks for a great product!

Thank you for the suggestion. For the most part, we focus more on allowing you to score within the rules than on enforcing the rules. Enforcing the rules would be up to the umpire. The scorekeeper just records what happens. For example, if we did not allow a re-entry, and the umpire says one is allowed for whatever reason, that would leave you being unable to keep score.
