ingame and play description

Post by tenn63 » Sat Apr 14, 2012 5:26 pm

would it be possible to use abbreviations in the ingame history area.. ie 1 for 2.. single, Ks
the reason being is that once i get above 3 or 4 at bats the box that contains this info seems to small and the third and fourth at bat history is cut off and cant be read. it seems that there is an invisible "box" for this info and it is not big enough to hold the history if it is spelled out.
instead of single it could be 1b ,, double 2b and so on.
just a thought..

also the play description boxes on the upper right seem to be limited to three lines of text. some plays take more than this and you cant read the entire play. can these be made to sort of auto expand so the whole play can be read.

easy for me to say but it probably takes a hundred hours of work to make these changes..

this is by far the "gold standard" in this area of apps and thanks for making it available to us.

Most things actually do use abbreviations. It should be very rare that the text can now show for all at bats. Which device are you scoring with?

With the play descriptions, if you are using an iPad, you can tap the play in the pitch by pitch listing, and it will show all the details (and even let you edit).

We will keep both of your suggestions on our enhancement list as we continue to improve iScore.

Thank you.
