"Cancel" option for data entry while scoring
If this is a non-issue for more experienced users then please forgive me for asking this, but I have often pressed the wrong button and would like to be able to "cancel" instead of going through the whole sequence for what I selected just to press "Undo"

I second this one. It happens to me often enough.

Re: "Cancel" option for data entry while scoring
This is a good suggestion, and one that we have run into while scoring games as well. We have it on our list for future enhancements. Thank you.

Re: "Cancel" option for data entry while scoring
As this has been asked before, thought i would clarify a couple spacific places I have wanted to have more back/cancel capabilities.....
1) on the- "touch each poistion that was involved in the out", screen
perhaps a back button on the left side opposite the undo button
2) "what happened to batter #.." screens (both out and safe versions)
could use a back button on bottom where
the more/cancel buttons are on the intial "in play" and "out" screens

Re: "Cancel" option for data entry while scoring
We have it on our list now, and will try and put it in for a future release. It will not be in our upcoming release as we are at the tail end of that cycle, but is on the list for prioritizing as more releases are developed.
Thank you.

Re: "Cancel" option for data entry while scoring
bummer, it seemed like a relatively easy requests with high user satisfaction potential ( and from couple versions ago, if i recall). thought it would go a long way to helping folks feel the user entry process was 'easier' .
of course, all excited about those changes that are making the 1.7/2.0 list..

Re: "Cancel" option for data entry while scoring
Just want to add a "me too" for this thread -- this past weekend I missed plays (twice!) because I had to clomp through multiple screens (the bases were loaded) then undo then start over again after I had fat-fingered a button on the second screen!

Re: "Cancel" option for data entry while scoring
We will try and make this a higher priority for a future release. It sounds a lot easier than it actually is, but enough people are asking about it that we will try and make it happen.
