Landscape mode for ipad

It would be nice if there could be a way to do landscape mode when entering new players and teams for speed.

At times I have teams who give me lineups 5 min before start and I have to input quickly. That feature would be nice.

Also a tab to next field would be very very helpful! That way you can input the first name tab to the last name and then tab to the player number without having to close the keyboard each time.

That would also speed up input greatly!

To hit tab is one touch, to hit last name field is one touch I am not seeing the advantage to add the tab feature. I use an iTouch though so the iPad input may be different.

You don't have to close the keyboard - just touch inside the next field. For example, touch the first name, keyboard pops up, fill it in, then touch the last name field.

I type really fast so to do the one touch thing is far from ideal.

It would just be easier if you could tab to next field so you do not have to stop.

When I use a real keyboard I do not even use a mouse most if the time since keyboard functions are much faster if you know how to use them.

We will be adding landscape mode though it is not included in v2.80 (the version we just submitted to Apple).

just curious, what part do you want in landscape? I have found portrait mode works well with the current user interface, and not missed landscape, (except perhpas for occasional stat table) . in fact the current version, i lock my screen also to help avoid some of the screen leak issues described elsewhere on the board. again, just curious..

(one thing i have notices is some polarized sunglasses can only read landscape)

Another issue with Portrait.... I wear prescription sunglasses that are Polarized. I can't see ANYTHING in Portrait mode through Polarized Sun Glasses. Looking forward to Landscape mode. Any idea when the next release will be given to Apple with Landscape support?

We do not yet know when we will be supporting Landscape mode, but it is on our list of enhancements.
