Scoresheet: Add Pitcher Info to Bottom of Batter Info Page

Post by drmellow » Thu Apr 22, 2010 9:17 am

I love iScore. I'm using it to score Minor League games for the local team, as a fan.

My enhancement request is for the generated PDF scoresheets. I would love a box summarizing the game stats for the opposing pitchers added to the bottom of the batting stats. This more closely matches pencil-and-paper scoring, and makes it convenient to easily match pitching changes in the batter section of the sheet. There appears to be plenty of room under the 9 batters to include a chart for opposing pitcher information. Adding pitcher information under the batters would also make it obvious as to what pitchers are on what team.

Especially since I'm not tracking pitch location, the scatter chart that is included with the current output is useless to me (to me, I said -- I'm sure lots of people *love* it and I don't want them to lose it) and the other stats are overwhelmed by an empty scatter chart. I'd rather the pitcher stat information be included with my batters and discard the third page in the PDF.

I did a quick search for this request and didn't find anything in the forums. If it's been discussed before, I apologize that my search-fu is apparently weak, and I'd appreciate a pointer to the discussion thread. Thanks!

If you'd like to see the scoresheets I'm generating with iScore, check out my "Hoppers Fan" blog ( http://hoppersfan.mlblogs.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ). The entries about recent games include JPGs that I created from the PDF generated by iScore. I absolutely love it.

Thanks for considering this request.
