This is one of those suggestions that falls into the category of iScore allows you to score things within the rules but does not prevent you from doing things incorrectly. There are too many times that a wrong call can be made on the field by an umpire or a scorekeeper forgot to advance the runner from first to second on a previous pitch. Allowing for the dropped third strike does not reduce the number of taps as iScore would still ask if it was a Strikeout Swinging, Looking, caught foul tip, or bunt foul... so hiding the Dropped 3rd Strike button does not reduce the number of steps, but could potentially not allow scoring what was seen on the field (correct or not).
