I score for our local HS and Legion teams, so from one year to the next, most rosters of opposing teams are about 1/2-3/4 the same names, though not unusual for numbers to change as upperclassmen leave and underclassmen change to previously taken favorite numbers.

Since most coaches don't/won't email me rosters ahead of time, I would find it very helpful if there were an option on the roster page for a "Pre-Season Sort" that clears offensive/defensive assignments and places the players in alphabetical order. That way, I can quickly find and resort retained players into the batting order/bench and everyone left at the bottom of the roster gets removed.

I think this has been suggested before. But i will pile on. Good ideas.

The ability to quickly sort a team roster by number or last name would be useful.. as is the clear all aspects .. (positions/batting) and jersey numbers.

I will add, i could see this as code logic that would apply to all platforns and all sport aps, not just baseball .. part of standard 'team manager' functionality

This refresh option would compliment the somewhat counter ability that already exists to copy line up to roster based on last/past game.
