Display Rain Delay on webcast / Pre game Start notes (future ideas)

Post by Ktbken » Sat May 14, 2016 11:22 am

Please indicate "Rain Delay" on webcast when I initiate such. Would also be nice to have a "Game Delayed" & "Game Suspended" feature. All of these should be available before starting a game.

You can add a note to the game, and any note you add is displayed in the iScorecast.

Problem with notes is you have to start game to create one. Would be nice if note was automatically generated when I initiate a delay.

In order to select Rain Delay, you also have to start the game. You can change the Scheduled Date/Time of the game and do an iScorecast Synchronize and the viewers will see the updated scheduled date/time prior to having to start the game.

Oh that's nice to know. Thanks but still would like to enter notes/delays without starting games. Just a thought.

tip .. Notes> Next Play

When using notes ..
You have a choice 'previous play' or 'next play'

If you use "next play" it will post immediately as a separate event .

I use this to start the game before first pitch to provide various comments and status to my remote viewers ..

estimated first pitch time.. Warm up in progress.. Weather report .facility or crowd notes .. Fence depth . Umpires -coaches at plate .. Anything

Interesting. The notes icon is n/a until I hit Play! on my iPad mini. The only icons are Lineup and settings. That's good to know though. Thanks.

That is the point. Go ahead and Hit play ..
Then Send a note > next play
.. First pitch at x time.. And have fun setting the stage

Yes the clock starts .... but only you see that as scorer. But even that is fixable, if you want..

Misc> Rain delay ... Puts up the delay .. Then misc > resume game resets to 000

I concur. While yes, you could start a game... Notes BEFOre a game starts would be excellent.

Just comments of what's happening, why it's delayed, etc
