Mental errors

Post by Hawki1 » Fri May 06, 2016 4:01 pm

It would be nice to be able to track these. Such things as 2nd base not covering first on bunt or catchable fly ball drops between two players, etc. these instance that can dramatically effect the outcome of a game

I realize that this isn't a "recognized" stat but at the high school level and lower these are usually the areas that are discussed after the game so that they Can be avoided in the future.

I use NOTES during the game to record mental errors. After the game I can go to Scorebook, scroll to notes, and read what I wrote.
I use a lot of canned text (iPad) for common notes. Ex: cvm=Coach visits mound. ip=Time out, injured player. pc=Pitcher changed.
