One thing we noticed that's pretty funny is the notes in pitch by pitch when you don't track how hard the ball was hit in scoring. We had a player hit a home run, home run was selected, and seemed fine. In the pitch by pitch recap it says, '(Player name) hits a soft grounder for a Homerun!'.
Not an important issue, just an easy improvement for your software. If the scorer doesn't track hit location then it should just be called what it is, home run, triple, double single.

Nice post.
( +1 vote on enhancement list value)
(I have always scored with quality of hit option enabled - because it adds more to viewer .. so never noticed your point )
