This is related to my other recent enhancement request in that it's something that can be fixed by editing the stats, and therefore I think it's low (if any) priority.
From reading the forum I know a lot of people not only want to edit the stats but also want the scorecard to be "updated" with those fixes. One case is earned/unearned runs since in some cases only a person sitting at the game can determine the status of a run. Would it be possible to somehow incorporate an earned/unearned toggle in the play-by-play edit?
Thanks for a great product and for interacting with us on this forum. It too me a long time to go from paper to electronic scoring (I score simply because I like to...I'm not keeping stats for anyone) but I thoroughly enjoy using iScore (and games like the one I just attended, with a team scoring 10 in one inning, make me glad I'm not on paper any more!).

Re: Force earned/unearned run
As you noted, we do allow overriding the earned and unearned runs directly in stats. We may add additional ways to do that in the future in some kind of advanced mode, but honestly, 9 out of 10 times (probably more) that people try and tell us that iScore got things wrong, it is actually the person telling us that is wrong and/or did not understand the rules. Yes, there are some cases where a run will be marked as earned or unearned incorrectly based on the logic we use, but human error on determining this is much higher from what we have experienced over the last 6 years of users with iScore.
If there are cases where iScore is getting something wrong that we actually CAN correct, we would be much more interested in doing that than just allowing a user to toggle earned vs unearned easily on each play.

Re: Force earned/unearned run
Thanks. That certainly makes sense. And in truth, I thought I had such a case and was typing it up before I read your reply. When doing that, I found my mistake (marking the batter as reaching on an error instead of a FC...the error was on a throw trying for a force at the plate) and correcting that fixed things. So perhaps the situation is not as common as I initially thought.
And extra kudos because this was a case of a subsequent run being unearned to the team but earned to the pitcher, and (even with my initial mistake) it was correctly recorded!
