Batting Average with no strikes

Post by Jas » Fri Feb 20, 2015 6:53 am

I have looked, and haven't found it. Is there anyway to get batting averages calculated with different counts? I'd like to show my guys their BA's with no strikes (or 2-0 counts), compared to 0-2 counts, etc.

Thanks. I love everything you guys do.

The TruMedia add on allows you to see situational batting averages.

Thank you very much.

Do you happen to know how much this add on costs?

It is a subscription basis... $9.99 for 1 month, $49.99 for 6 months, or $89.99 for 1 year.

Looking to track switch hitter stats.

How do you install & subscribe to TruMedia Add-on, do you find it within the Iscore app? When I go int the app to "Options", then "Add Ons", it only shows MLB rosters available, there are no other "Add Ons".

Also, is the TruMedia add-on available on Ipad AND Droid? I have Iscore on both and can't find the TruMedia Add-on in either one.

The TruMedia add on is only available on iPad devices, and is visible under Options -> Add Ons. If you are not seeing it, then perhaps you have the "iPhone Version" of iScore, not the Universal / iPad version?

Thank you.
Is EdgeHQ.com an add-on available for Droids? If so, how do you get it and what is the cost (subscription or one time cost?)?

Yes, EdgeHQ is available for all platforms as you have to log in to their web interface to access the data. They have varying costs depending on type of team, etc. You can contact them directly from their website at http://edgehq.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for more information on integration with iScore.

I second this feature request. You already have the data. You compile results by pitch counts for pitchers. You can store that same information by hitter. A negative result for a pitcher would be a positive result for a hitter. I would love to know how hitters perform based on a no strike, 1 strike, and 2 strike count.

As noted, the TruMedia or EdgeHQ partners can get this level of analytics and more for you from your iScore data.
