I had the opportunity to score a couple games today. Here are a couple suggestions for future updates:
- When I get a phone call during a game, obviously iScore has to quit for me to take it. When I reopen iScore to continue, I have to go through the laborious process of Score a Game, choose game, and tap Play when the lineups show up. I would really like iScore to just go to where I left off immediately and skip all the extra taps.
- It's great that iScore remembers the last email address I used to send out the stats/scorecard, but in my case there are 2 or 3 that I typically use and they change periodically. Rather than retyping them all the time, maybe iScore could keep a list of recently used email addresses.
- I did both iScore and normal scorebook today. One of the things that keeps me from ditching the paper book is the coach asking me which batters are due up for the other team in the next half inning. I'd like to have a quick reference for this rather than taking the time to switch to the scorecard.
- Bug? When I enter rosters/lineups, I generally don't know if the opposing player is left or right handed so I default it to right. However, once I see them up to bat I'll change it to left if necessary. When I do this the batter icon doesn't switch sides. Not a big deal though.
- Please, PLEASE reverse the order of the games in the "Select Game" view so that the most recent game appears closer to the top! Or at least make that an option somewhere.
Overall I was pretty pleased with iScore today. It was great to be able to email the stats to the coaches before they had even left the field.

Re: Few more suggestions
Great suggestions wrast:
- Love the restoring "exactly" where you were on phone call idea --- you are the first to suggest it, and I can't believe we never thought of that one. We do let you continue right where you left off, but as you say, you do have to select the game again that you want to continue scoring.
- We have had several requests for the email address remembering. We are thinking about allowing selecting from your contact list on the device. It is definitely on our list to improve this.
- Seeing the opponent's upcoming batters --- I ran into exactly this today at a tournament my daughter was playing in. The coach asked me who was coming up, and I had to go to the scorecard. We will add this to our list as well.
- When switching from right to left handed during game play, if you exit out of the app and go back in after making the switch, the icon is updated. We will add to our list to fix this issue when changed during gameplay.
- Reversing the game listing is already done for our next release.
Thank you again for taking the time to send us detailed suggestions.

Re: Few more suggestions
One point about restoring exactly where you were in the game rather than going through the intro screens is that there needs to be a way to get from the game back to the main screen if you do this. Right now, the only way to get back to the main screen from a game is to close the app and go back into it (as far as I know). That probably isn't so much an issue while scoring a live game, but if you are entering older games, that could be an issue. Also, when you get to the end of the game and the Game Over screen is up, it doesn't let you go back to the main screen without closing and opening again. I'd hate to see everyone getting stuck with a "Game Over" screen.

Actually, if you click the Lineup button, you can then click Back and get back to the main screen. It's not obvious, but it is there. Works for Game Over screen too.
Our next release has a "Game Manager" that is great for reviewing already completed games. Watch for our release very soon.
