I have to say, I'm impressed with your application. I just started using it over the last 3 to 4 games of my son's. It's absolutely awesome and I cannot believe the detail you've gone through to develop this app.
As a new user, I'm entering a lot of data, names. I own a software development company that services reporting and imaging for cardiology, so as a fellow developer (for data entry type programs) I have a couple suggestions for you from the perspective of a new user.
1. When entering any of the data (team names, player names etc) have it automatically proper-case the name. You have no idea how many clicks this will save, especially when you're rushing to get it done before a game starts or the coach wants the line up from you. Additionally, it will make a much stronger initial perception of your application because it seems like such a basic requirement.
2. When a field receives focus, have it automatically select whatever text is already in it - just like you do for the Jersey number entry. This will save having to put the cursor at the end of text and backspacing or double clicking the data and hitting back space.
3. When filling out a new roster, I would like to go from player to player in a roster by swiping or hitting a next or previous button.
4. I would like to go into a completed game and be able to select a player and show the field with the hits he had for that particular game.
5. I have a phablet for a phone, I would like a way to tell force the app to show the pitching and field screens like it does automatically on the tablet.
Thanks,
Dave

Re: Team Roster Data Entry Request
I would like to add my encouragement for #2 & #3.
#2: The baseball product does this for jersey numbers, but not other fields. This would reduce the number of taps needed to enter rosters.
#3: Next/Previous is a good idea. An alternative might be a grid so that you can make all the changes then save them, instead of player by player.
