Managing favorites

Post by photojon » Thu Apr 05, 2018 7:03 am

While I've been an iScore user for several years, I just recently started using the Viewer app on iOS device. I am able to find my team but I am seeing duplicates for our games. I suspect it is because I share the games I am scoring with another parent and both our games are showing up. My first question is how can I determine who the scorer is so I know which to make as a favorite (I'm thinking this is a way to remove the favorites). Secondly, when open a game, click the "three dots" and choose favorites the icons and behavior isn't what I would expect with iOS devices. For example, I see filled in hearts on both teams and score keeper which indicate to me that I have selected all three. I would expect to see a "filled" heart on only those that are indeed favorites. Secondly on the far right, when I choose the "right facing arrow" I would expect that to bring up a new page with details that I can modify. Instead it returns me to the game. In summary, please let me know (1) how to differentiate/identify who a scorer is (2) determine which teams are in my favorites and how to turn off a favorite. Thanks!

Let me know if this helps..

1) REMOVE A FAVORITE
Hamburger Menu (upper left, three bars) > SETTINGS menu> FAVORITES page> tap Favorite Teams/Scorekeeper - tap minus sign next to favorite to remove

2) MANAGER DESCRIPTION
If whoever scores your games has a "team Web site subscription" , they can go to web site settings, and provide information in the manager name field that will show up in the central viewer search to help differentiate scorers (this is not the same field as manager in the scorekeeper app)

if mutiple people are scoring the same game, the above two methods should help you differentiate...

the scorekeeper can also help in how they name the team.

3) the user interface for saving Favorites is the same for the android and iOS app (3 dots "more" button > add to favorites ) (your solid hears and right facing arrow comment). It is done a bit differently in the "Watch Game" version. I suspect developers are just evolving the
