importing roster from retrosheet

Post by saturn57 » Fri Jan 12, 2018 7:09 am

I have watched the video about uploading rosters from retrosheet. Per the video you upload the csv file in the video it separates the data by column and then to the right of this it gives the rosters with player name, batting/throwing handedness, and position all comma seperated. In the video this is what is copy/pasted into iScore, when I follow the video I get the data separated by commas but do not get the comma separated data that is upload into iScore. What am I doing wrong?

Retrosheet is part of the MLB Add On Subscription. If you purchase that subscription, you can download any roster from retrosheet by simply going to Team Mananager -> Add Team -> Discover, then selecting Retrosheet and the team you want to import.
