I received a n email today. I was told the issue was fixed. No explanation on what the issue actually was. There was no information regarding a requested refund for one the the premium service subscriptions. I have asked again about the requested refund. No reply yet.

BTW, the issue appears to be corrected on my Android phone. I am traveling this week so I can not check the app on my iPad.

Apple does not give developers a way to give refunds. You would have to request a refund from Apple.

@Tschick62@gmail.com - thanks for the community update, glad to here the android phone is now able to access the premium features.

@support, what should the user community expectation be for this go forward .. is there an iScore policy? will users need to purchase a premium subscription for each platform (android and iOS)? or can they purchase on one platform (android or iOS ) and then use on the (iOS/Android)

I do not recall seeing posted on the forum or iscoresports.com web site - one way or another. I know support has previously said, a customer can use a single premium subscription Email ID/password on multiple Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mini). I believe same holds for Android, one premium subscription email ID/password can be used on multiple Android devices ( phones and tablets). Was not sure if iScore or google/ apple had a policy that prevents cross platform use of a single premium subscription.

please advise

Regards
OhioTex

The is now a new issue. I am getting multiple emails alerting me of various baseball games. These are teams that I am not following. This recent problem did not occur until I was informed my issue with a double payment being needed in order use premium services on my iPad and Android phone. I have informed support of this new issue.

@ Tschick62 .. lets pause for a minute and not jump to conclusions. the random notifications are not related to your subscription issue. Just a timing coincidence. Many of us got random notifications today. Support is working on the problem.

  • On another thread on the forum, viewtopic.php?f=34&t=12026, you will see support has been working on a notification issue and this morning found a system wide glitch and they tried to fix.. in the process they have triggered some random notifications and some people (not all) have been receiving random updates as the system cleared itself out. I can not explain it technically nor do i have any more detail than what is in the posts, but something similar has happened before (random notifications) and it was resolved and not an ongoing problem. a short term annoyance, but i would not be too concerned unless it continues.

If you see them happen again, PLEASE feel free to update the forum, it is nice to know when they do happen and how wide spread the notifications are.
Secondly,

I am glad you have your android and iOS access working. For Apple in app purchases, you can request a refund from Apple (not iScore / the developers). you can do on web, on iTunes or in purchase email. I have had to do that before for an app inadvertently purchased and it was actually pretty easy and fast on iTunes, no questions asked. just click on the order info "report a problem button" in your account and follow the prompts if i recall.

I do not know the process for Android as i do not have an android device. but a quick google "how to get an app refund on google play" brings up step wise instructions

Lastly, i hope you stay with iscore central viewer. i have found it is competitively priced and even a bargain (cheaper than gate fee) and great to have if you can't be there to watch a game you want to follow. If you have not tried the Audio Simulcast- I have to say it is truly unique and a great value add

thanks

@support, what is the policy on this? do users need to purchase a premium subscription for each platform (android and iOS)? or can they purchase on one platform (android or iOS ) and then use on the (iOS/Android) and if so does it matter which platform they purchase on first?

Unfortunately the subscription models on the two platforms have diverged a bit so it makes the sharing across platforms a bit tricky. This was not intentional, but unfortunately a longer term fix is going to require changes on the Android platform.

For now, if you purchase on Android, you can email support with the email address you are registered with and we can add the subscription to your iOS device as well for those that have both iOS and Android devices.

yet, another example of iscore doing the right thing for its customer base. iScore has always had a strong customer centric approach to its products and pricing and this is just another example of being more than fair despite additional burden on company given the apple/google technical limitations.

big part of why I support iScore and this community forum.
