Enhancement Idea: Increase Time Window for 'Game Search' Results in Central App (answered)

Suggestion : Increase Future Time Window for Game > Search Results

currently, on iOS device, it looks like future games show up in GAME > SEARCH results when inside of about a 30 hour time window (and past games within about 6 ½ days). I assume Android app is the same.

Not sure the initial logic and constraints for these settings and why different future and past, But If it is not a strain on technology or user experience, I would think about making both past and future the same timeframe for user understanding. I would also expect the forward window to be longer than 30 hours (say a week or at least 3 days to cover a whole weekend tournament ) . I am not sure the logic for more past than future, but if !:! does not make sense, what about 2 to 1 - say future 3 ½ days and past 7 days? Another idea (probably more technically challenging) would be to have user adjustable settings ....like under Settings > Favorites.. but apply to Game Search not just Favorites search.

Again, there may well be technical and performance reasons for the current settings. Just thought i would surface the idea for consideration.

.......
P.S> on a semi related note, I do not fully understand the filter rules for Scheduled and Near Me. Scheduled seems to be set to 5 hours, but was wondering if perhaps west coast time driven? and Near me finds some but not all games.

The iScore Central viewer app is intended to view live and recently completed games. Being able to search for a game more than a day in advance does not really serve the purpose of the app as there is nothing you can do with a game in iScore Central that is many days out. If you are worried about "missing" a game, the best way to be sure not to miss one is to add the team you are interested in to your favorites, and if you have a subscription to iScore Central Premium, you will get push notifications when any games for your favorite team(s) starts, for score updates, etc.

I understand the main use case, game day viewing. But the program does not communicate game search is time bound, and what it is. If limited to a day, perhaps communicate that some how (e.g., games found in the next day). The program sends mixed messages when it provides favorite settings that are adjustable and extend past and future to 7days.

As you saw in the referenced thread that initiated this idea, A premium user set up his games for upcoming weekend and wanted to promote central viewer but had no visibile proof, he set up correctly and would be there to tell parents and fans. A reasonable expectation.

I can also see fans being more willing to subscribe if they see multiple upcoming games..

I also understand for scoring, iscore's main use case was for games to be created on game day, but a number of users have shown they desire scheduling in advance.

Setting up and Seeing games through the up coming weekend seems pretty common.
