Why are “Guardians” Still Called “Indians”

Hi, I amusing the MLB Lineups and the Cleveland Guardians are setup as such in the Team Manager Tab. But when scoring a game involving Cleveland, the nickname still shows up on the scoreboard as the “Indians”. Why is that?

Probably the same reason Ballpark names have not been changed.
