Batters faced vs. T00 (number of 0-0 counts)

Post by promark747 » Fri Apr 25, 2014 7:02 am

There are some very interesting and useful stats in the Pitching section (Pitching - Pitch Types) but I'm trying to figure out why some of our pitchers have different numbers of T00 (number of 0-0 counts) vs Batters Faced. For example, one pitcher has 45 BF, but only 39 T00. The only thing I can think of is where a pitcher was replaced in the middle of an at-bat, but that hasn't happened. What would cause these numbers to be different? For most pitchers the two numbers match, but several pitchers have different numbers.

Thanks
