Server Issues

Why not just tell us now, that all our team websites are lost and we're going to have to start from scratch again?

B/c that is not true

When this happened last month . All was recovered .. It just took time

(the third party hosting provider whos server crashed is just slower to restore than expected).

We are passing on all the information the hosting provider has given us. We have provided a way that anyone that does not want to wait can reprovision their site now instead of waiting. If the hosting provider told us the data is irrecoverable, we would pass that on immediately. So far all we have been told is that they have been having trouble with the restore and they have escalated the issue to their highest level service folks. It would not serve any purpose for us to not be forthright and upfront with everyone.

Is this the same provider as last month? Why does this keep happening? Who is this provider so I make sure I never use them in one of my businesses.

FTM support has restrained from disclosing their host provider. They are trying to take the high road.

But i do recall they mentioned in a post same provider as last month .
But something different seems to have 'broke' this time so similar .. but not exactly same as last month .but I do believe same provider .

Yes, same provider. Dedicated hosting plan. Hard drive failure both times. They did not meet their terms of service in getting the restore to us in a timely manner. If you would really like to know who it was, send us a PM and we will let you know.

The main thread will have more on the status shortly (baseball team websites and league websites are now restored... other sports will be restored shortly).
