Please update on the status of the team websites and when we can expect to be able to access them again.

All data is backed up by our hosting provider. We have full managed backups. We can not get a straight answer as to why the data is not being restored quickly, but as soon as we have useful information, we will post it here. They tell us the restore is in progress and do not have an estimate as to when it will be completed.

Our hosting provider has said the restore is still in progress, but it is not happening as fast as we (and we are sure all of you) would like.

We have added a way for people that do not want to wait on their team website to be restored to start the site over if you would like.

To do so, just go to your team website URL, and follow the steps provided there. You will have to re-do the look of the site, but it will allow you to be up and running now instead of waiting for those that want to do this.

Thank you again for your patience as we work through this.

(NOTE: Currently this is only for Baseball / Softball sites... we will add the same functionality to the other sports as well shortly.)

As of last night, when I scored a game, the emailing of box scores and all files worked, along with iScorecast synchronizing.

Then, this morning I scored a game, and now when I tried to hit "iScorecast Synchronize" and also try to email the box score/file, it tells me "UNSUCCESFUL/TRANSMISSION FAILED" on both options. Is this related to the server issue? Because yesterday,I was having no problems with this.

Is the "Restore" going to be 100% or are we going to have to redo/adjust our sites anyway?

@spyder23 --- we just did both an iScorecast Synchronize and emailed a game from an iPad here with iScore Baseball, and it worked with no issues. We do not believe the failures were related to our server. It seems internet connectivity would be the issue in that case. If you used a different device combo / sport, let us know and we can try that as well.

@rgossard --- unless we hear otherwise from our hosting provider, we still believe it will be 100%. We are just not happy that it is taking so long, and they have not given us any more details we can pass along, so we wanted to give people an option to get back up and running now without having to wait.

To community

Last month when there was a similar crash - everything came back .
It just took a few days and some of my devices, sooner than others.

For me. I can afford a few days with out web site and will just wait for restore vs rebuilding home page look and feel. I can still score and email everything from my device .

Thanks

I was able to download rosters from USSSA and bluetooth exchange my roster with our opponents over the weekend. So that seems unaffected.
