iScore Server Status

UPDATE 3/12: The only data we are still waiting on to be restored are old Exports. If you do an Options -> Export from within iScore, it always puts your most recent data on the server. If you have a specific question about your data, please email us directly at support@iscoresports.com.

The iScore Servers are having issues right now --- a hard drive has failed on one of our servers. We are working with our Hosting Provider to resolve the issue ASAP. We will update this thread as progress is made.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, and are actively working to change service providers as well as this is the second hard drive failure in just over a month.

NOTE: While the servers are down, you can still score games as you normally would. Only the things that require connections to our server will not be functional. It should not effect your actual scoring of games however.

We are having to go through a restore process with our current Hosting Provider again.

We have decided to take the plunge and move everything to a new provider now rather than wait any longer. We were hopeful we could do it in a more planned / seamless way after the issue we had about a month ago, but having a second outage like this is forcing us to make the move sooner rather than risk ongoing issues.

We truly apologize for the troubles it is causing, and may continue to cause for a bit longer during this transition, but long term, this will be better for all of you as our valued customers, and we will have a more robust and redundant environment.

As previously noted, your actual scorekeeping should not be effected by any of this as our architecture intentionally keeps scoring isolated from the server. We believe the iScorecasting and emails should all be restored.

The things that are going to take a little longer to restore are the Team Websites and MLB Roster subscriptions.

We will keep posting progress in this thread.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop. It does sound like you have little choice but to move, since your current "provider" seems not to understand the meaning of that word.

When do you think the problem will be resolved?

Is this server issue why the "Export" action is failing for me?
Avatar is wrong, BTW - I'm on v4.44.224, Samsung Tablet, Android

Yes. The server issue impacts export.

Without the team site, I'm not able to access the iScorecast link for a game to send the link out prior to the game beginning. I am in iScore for baseball v 4.0.4 on an iPad.

My team is in a tournament this weekend and I set up all the games in advance and had iScorecast links, but they do not appear to be working and I am unable to access the iScorecast links in the app. When I go to Game Info, it has an option to "Email iScoreCast Link" but it doesn't prompt for an email address (like it does once the game has already started).

How can I access the iScorecast link without starting the game?

The email scorecast link should be working, and scorecasts should be working. v4.0.4 is a pretty old version. You may want to update to the newest version in the App Store.

You can also send a link to http://iscorecast.com/?c=XXXX" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; replacing the XXXX with your customer ID. This will give people a list of all your games. You can also just visit that link yourself, and click a game to get the link to the game and email that to people.

I keep getting an "Invalid user and/or password!" error when trying to sign in to my.iscorecentral.com. Is that because of the server problems or is it because of an unrelated problem? Thanks.
