My son plays on a 13U club team in which games are 6 innings in length. Can someone please give me the guidelines or rules for determining winning and losing pitchers based upon 6 innings? Also, what about games that end in 4 and 5 innings due to run-rule or time limits? Thanks.

My kid's team usually plays 7 innings unless a mercy is involved. I generally give a starting pitcher the win if he goes 3 or more complete.

I dont think there are hard rules for this situation at most youth levels. I usually give the win without regard for innings pitched, just who was the pitcher of record.

I agree. Unless the league has a rule about the starter completing a minimum number of innings, I give it to the starter.
