How do you score the outs when runner doesn't slide at 2nd
to break up a double-play? We had this situation yesterday and the upmire called both the runner at 2nd and the batter out.

You would probably want to use Out -> Runner Interference for the reason for the out when the player is not sliding.

But then how do you explain the batter as out...pretty sure he made it to first base safely, but in all of the confusion, I don't recall exactly -- just know he was called out by the umpire.
BTW, I think I did call the runner on 2nd out by interference.

Would score the batter as out on Runner Interference as well, and in this case when it asks for the nearest fielder, you select first base. The first baseman gets credit for the put out in that case.

I would score the batter out for runner's interference. I would score the runner at second out as a double play. The fielder at second probably got the runner out on the force. The batter was called out for the interference (even though it was another runner that did the interfering).
This has the advantage of giving the fielders credit for a double play in the stats which I think is called for in this situation.
