Phantom Error

Post by rgossard » Thu Mar 21, 2013 3:50 pm

I scored a game where it shows a player committed 2 errors; however, the score card and play by play only show one error by him (on PKA) and none by the rest of the team. The only other Boo Boo he committed was a WP, which should not be counted as an error?

The scorecard would not show if Misc -> Assign Error was used for a player. You would only see that in play by play. Is that a possibility?

For the error on the PKA, is it possible two runners advanced, and the "touches" or type (fielding vs throwing) of the error was not entered exactly the same for both runners?

No, a WP is not considered an error.

If you do an Options -> Export and email us your customer ID and which game/player it is, we can take a look at your data to see where the second error is coming from.

In case this is a bug, I will report that I have a "phantom error" too.

Thanks

Done.

Thanks for your help. For me, the error isn't a big deal. I just score games for fun. I though it would be helpful in the development of the app.
