Mound Visit

Post by sad91171 » Tue Nov 13, 2012 7:15 pm

Is there a way to mark a coaching visit to the mound? Would help with people watching the iscorecast to know what the delay is. Thanks

Second visit to mound you have to pull the pitcher in an inning. You only have to remember 1. Coach should certainly be able to do that.

Not the case in softball. You can make up to 4 trips to the mound without replacing a pitcher before you are required to replace a pitcher.
2 trips in first inning. 1 trip in 2nd to replace pitcher (does not count). 1 trip in 4th. 1 trip in 5th (now required to replace pitcher)

Some baseball rule sets allow you three visits to the mound over the full game. Visits don't count against this total if the pitcher is changed.

These exceptions just go to show how difficult it is just to add a "simple" feature like mound visits to the app.
