Is there a specific way to enter in a ground out double play?
For example, with a runner at first, the batter grounds to the shortstop, who throws to second and forces out the runner, who throws to first and gets the batter. When I enter this into iScore, it always gives the lead out to the batter and the second out to the runner, even though the lead out was really the runner while the second out was the batter.

Re: Double play question
You are scoring it correctly. We are currently showing the out #'s backwards. This does not effect stats in any way, but does show backwards on the scorecard. We will get this fixed for the next release. Thank you.

Re: Double play question
The only way I know how to get the order of the put-outs right is, before clicking out or in play, select the lead runner. When the options appear select the base they are forced out at and (in your case second base) and select forced out. Next for the batter just select out/ground out/fielders involved(6-4-3, 5-4-3, etc.) and the order of the outs in the scorebook will be correct. Nothing else changes.
Re: Double play question
Wait a minute ..there is a way to score a routine 6-4-3 double play that shows the out sequence correctly... 'flick' the out button and choose the appropriate quick play. In this case 6-4-3 and score card will be correct.
Fyi you need to remember to use flick out when scoring live because do not believe you can do the same thing with pitch editor after the fact.
Ftm? - is there a way to recreate a flick out in pitch editor after the fact?

Re: Double play question
You will notice the original question here is very old.
You can get a 6-4-3 double play in the right order either through the quick plays, or standard scoring. With standard scoring, you would just use:
Out, Ground Out, SS-2B-1B, Out, 2B, Double Play
The outs will show in the correct order.

Re: Double play question
I just noticed the date of the prior ftm post (sept 09), that said it was backwards and would be fixed . It has long since been fixed.
