Multiple Device League Setup
I am starting a new season (first time with iScore) and will receive daily inputs from multiple devices, what is the best way to setup the rosters and games so that ALL users have the same and accurate data?

Re: Multiple Device League Setup
You should create all the teams / rosters on a single device, then use Data Sharing to transfer the teams to the other devices. You will then use data sharing after games are scored to transfer them to your device if that is what you would like to do. Here is a link that describes data sharing:

Re: Multiple Device League Setup
So, if there are seven other games going on any particular day and seven different devices, and, if I want to accumulate the data from each of the games on my device to generate "league stats" online, then I have to go to "Data Sharing/Get From Web Database" and login to seven different devices one at a time, add the day's game from each of those devices then, after all seven are imported, export the data from my device to display the updated stats on the internet. Does that sound right?

Re: Multiple Device League Setup
If you are going to have seven people using iScore to score from seven different devices, then we do have a league website we can offer. It really requires some familiarity with iScore to use however, so when you say this will be your first time with iScore, the league site might not be appropriate. Do you have other scorekeepers in the league that have been using iScore regularly?

Re: Multiple Device League Setup
A few of the teams have a season's worth of experience using iScore under their belt, and, as the league administrator, I am pretty savvy with programming. We do have a league website set up, but, for example, when I update a team's roster on my device and export it, the league website's roster for that team is not updated, and vice versa. The intergration of multiple devices seems not to be intuitive and I can't seem to find a forum thread that explains it, so I need someone to explain it to me. Can you help? Should we schedule an agreeable time to chat?

We got your email about this, and will be responding to it shortly describing how things work in a little more detail for the league sites.

Re: Multiple Device League Setup
So when I add a player to a roster on the league website AFTER a team user has downloaded an earlier version of the roster, do they have to delete the existing roster on their device to get the new player? Will this impact cumulative stats for players on the earlier roster (will they be overwritten)?

Re: Multiple Device League Setup
Yes, they would delete the team on the local device and re-data share to retrieve the team again. It will not effect cumulative data for the existing players.
