Installing Google Analytics on your website

Hi All,
I am trying to install google analytics on my teamwebsite but it does not seem to work. I have copied the specific tracking code from Google Analytics in the html code but it does not work.
Anybody has expierience putting Google Analytics on the website?

just following the guides.... make sure you include a "www" for the address...

At the risk of lazily asking a question I could go research and find the answer to, what is Google Analytics and what is the benefit that you see of using it on an iScore web site?

I was curious how many people were navigating to the team website I set up.
Google Analytics allows you to see this information. It grabs more detailed information than this, but number of users and number of times the website is hit is all I was really concerned with.
Hope that makes sense.
