Why is it that a Pop out - say to the Pitcher - is changed to read as a "Fly Out" to the Pitcher in Play by Play, IScoreCast, etc.?
I don't think of an infield ball in the air - as being a fly ball.

Re: Pop Outs change to Fly Ball Outs
We just entered Out, Popup / Fly Out, Soft, Pop up, touched near short stop, Next, SS. The pitch by pitch listing says "#22 Player X pops up to the shortstop #18 Bill Russell".

Follow-up . . .
You're right (kind of) - I just tried it myself - and the Play-by-play recorded it like I had scored it . . . a soft pop-up to the 3rd baseman . . . then . . . I went to the iscorecast(TV) of my trial game - and - there it was. It stated: so-and so flied out to the 3rd baseman.
