Pitch by Pitch
Pitch by Pitch
Are you able to avoid having to do pitch by pitch for each batter? Can you instead just do the end result of each at-bat?
Re: Pitch by Pitch
Not really. At bats ending in strikeout or walk for example need the previous balls/strikes to enter that result.

Re: Pitch by Pitch
Actually yes, you can just enter the result. For a Walk, you can enter In Play -> Walk. For a strikeout, you can enter Out -> Strike Out even without entering individual pitches. This is common for people that are using iScore to score their "board games".

Re: Pitch by Pitch
You only need to record every pitch if you need that data (speed, location, pitch counts, etc.). As FTM says, for those of us playing table top baseball, we generally only have the play result, and iScore works great. You can score real games this way as well as long as you don't care about those individual pitching items I mentioned.
Re: Pitch by Pitch
Oops, my bad...guess I never noticed those options since I dont use it that way.
