TIP: What is best Size for Roster Pictures - FAQ

Post by Scott26pt2 » Mon Feb 20, 2012 2:04 pm

I figured out how to upload player images in the beta version of the admin site so that they appear on the ROSTER tab of the team page, but I'm having problems finding anywhere that you can adjust the size of the pictures as they appear on the roster tab in the team page. Can anyone help me on this? They appear so small right now that it almost seems pointless.

There is not an adjustment for the size. We resize the when they are uploaded to fit the places they are used (roster, iscorecast).

320x480 works well.

FTM - Actually, upon further review...

This size works well for the roster page on the team website, but not so well for iscorecast and player card.

On the iscorecast, the player pictures are more square, so the 320x480 gets stretched horizontally.
On the player card PDF, this size is to tall and runs thru not only the border area, but actually gets cut off at top of page.

Is there any way to align these to the same aspect ratio?

Also something to keep in mind when you start to utilize these images in the app itself (hint, hint ;) )

hmm... all of the different uses should actually be maintaining aspect ratio. We will look into this and get it fixed.
