Is it possible to customize or modify what stats are tracked for games, teams or players? Some of the stats in the standard format are not tracked or needed and I was wondering if you could set iScore to track only what you want? Mainly when emailing stats.

You can certainly take what is emailed and modify it any way you want. That is one of the reasons for including and Excel and CSV export so you can take it and add/remove whatever fields you do not want. We do not have anything within the application to remove stats however.

Thanks for the fast reply, love the product so much that I'm trying to get our HS District to adopt the use of iScore. This would be such a great tool at the end of the year to assign district awards, accomplishments. Out of 8 HS all but three are on board.

Although it does not help your email concern, you can modify your stats showing on the add on team website if you choose obtain a site. There is a menu on the settings page to add or remove stats.

edit, If you do get your whole district to participate using iScore, FTM has a site to have the entire league stats show for scoring leaders, pitching etc. If the district decides to use iScore send an email to FTM to get set up.

I was just looking at some of the sample sites you have posted, only concern is we don't give player, parents stats on going. We like to control that as much as possible, we feel it keeps the kids more focused. We will release the stats towards the middle of the season, during the meat of district play to give the leaders something to push for. As you know this game is just as much mental as it is physical. We play a 40 game season so anything we can do to keep the focus of the girls is worth a shot. So, is it possible to lock down a stat link on the team site then open it up when ready?

Yes, there are two options with that... you can password protect the Stats and not give the password out until you are ready. Or, you can limit the stats that are seen to just a few early on (like Games Played and At Bats or whatever subset you want), then midway through the season, you can expand the stats that are seen.

ARe you talking about having all games scored live in the district using iscore?

That's correct, we have 6 of the 8 HS set up scoring on iScore with each of us keeping a paper book for back up. We also set up a district twitter account that each team will tweet updates as the games are going on. Hoping to get the last two on board tomorrow night.

sounds like a candidate for iScore League/Tournament Director version, but i do not think out of beta yet. b/c developers have been busy working on such other good stuff. will let FTM reply.
