New Season and Teams

Post by javigut52 » Mon Feb 13, 2012 3:38 pm

Is there an easy way for us (as a league) to delete and clear out all of the old games and teams that we had from last season and add all of the new rosters for this season? We'd also like to be able to make this information available for multiple devices as each team will have their own official electronic scorekeeper and they will all need to have the same roster information for the season. Thanks in advance for any help you can give us on this.

Deleting last seasons games is unnecessary. Use of the league feature would be an easier/better solution. Assign all of last seasons games to a
league i.e. 2011. You can turn that league off which will hide those games on your ipad. Now start a new league for 2012 and add your teams and rosters.

Above is a link to an area in the forum that discusses league usage. OhioTex has some good info in here to consider.

You can use Data Sharing between the different devices to get everyone the teams and rosters. Enter them on your device, do an Export from the options menu, then give your Customer ID and web password (on the same options screen) to the other person. They can use Web Sharing to pull up all your teams and rosters. Or you could have each team enter their own, and have everyone swap with everyone else.

If you don't want to give out that info. you can share via Bluetooth, but you will need to be in the same room, and using the same version (iPad to iPad or iPhone to iPhone) as you can cross devices with Bluetooth. If you have Android devices they should be able to share via Bluetooth to other Android devices.

FTM, this does bring up an issue - maybe we need a separate password to use for web sharing that only allows a device to sign in and get data.
