Re: Team Websites
Google Docs for calendars and posting results works great... there is a link in the forum somewhere from a customer that is doing exactly that, and it looks great.
Our goal with what we will be offering is a tight integration with iScore for people that want more - i.e. online play by play listings, roster editing online, pictures tied to players directly in iScore, more in depth reporting of statistics, etc... things that could not be achieved on a 3rd party site.

Re: Team Websites
I've not purchased this yet but i'm really interested in this. I cover high school sports and baseball is out of season for me so i'll be checking back on the progress of this app early next year. I run my website with joomla also and I'd love to see an integrated component/ module to import games entered on the iphone. I currently use joomleague but I'd prefer something designed to the specific sports I cover. Also, are there any plans to offer other sports? Football and Soccer season are coming soon and I'd definitely be up for both of them if they work similar and as well as, to what I head about this baseball app.
Thanks,
Joe
Thanks,
Joe

Re: Team Websites
We will be creating iScore applications for other sports as well. We have a thread where people have been voting on the one they would like to see next here:
http://iscore.freeforums.org/poll-which ... -t231.html
In addition to that list, we are actually getting very close to releasing an iScore Bowling Scorekeeper application that will track bowling statistics for individuals and/or teams, and give insight into where your game can improve. Are you really converting that 7 or 10 pin as often or as little as you think? Are there any 2-pin spares you are having particular trouble with? Do you do better on a certain lane at your bowling center? Many, many more statistics will be provided as well as having a history of all your bowling scores.

Re: Team Websites
That's fantastic news about a fully integrated iscore web site for teams! That's exactly what our league web master and I have been discussing. Will the team sites have on-line league registration service available like some of the other team sites, like eteams for example?

Re: Team Websites
Online registrations is one of our longer term goals, but will not be a part of the initial release.

Just wanted to show off what can be done with the exporting of the stats.

Everyone on the team loves it. We are using it in a slow pitch co-ed softball league.

Re: Team Websites
Hi all:
I am a recent buyer of iScore 1.65 (can't wait for 2.0...like everyone, I guess) and am looking forward to using it during Fall Ball starting up pretty soon here.
I love the idea of these websites. One feature I'd like to see, and would be willing to pay a little more for, is the ability to place banner ads of our team's choice within the site. Many of us who are involved with select baseball do a fair amount of fundraising, and being able to include the sponsor's banner on our page (at a certain level of support) is a highly useful tool for fundraising. The ability to create sub-pages is less important, but still fairly important, too. Beyond that, I second the already excellent suggestions above - stats, picture gallery/slideshow, blog, calendar interface with Google, are all things I'd love to see and be willing to pay for.

Re: Team Websites
There will be some level of complete custom editing of your own home site, so it will be possible for you to put banners of your sponsors on your site. We do not intend to have any built in advertising support, but you would certainly be welcome to have your own images / links to other sites for your own pages.

Re: Team Websites
Now that 2.0 is here, what is the ETA for the roll out of the FTM websites integrated with iScore? I suppose there is no huge hurry in that the season is winding down, but playing with it to get it right before next season is something I'd love to be able to do.
