hi, I looove the idea of this program, and I'm thinking of ordering an itouch just to use the app. i was just wondering a few things... is there an option to use the "Flex player" in softball?? basically does it allow me to have 10 players in the lineup, but one player only bats, and one player only plays defense.

also, when a batter is up that has been up before, can you see previous information like the results of their last at bat, where they hit it, etc.

There are other posts regarding flex players in the forum. The gist is you can currently have 9 or 10 players in the field. You can have any number of batters, but if you use the Designated Hitter position, this would be in place of the pitcher only, per baseball definition of the DH position. The next release is going to allow what is considered a Designated Player/Flex (DP/Flex). You can read about this in the product updates section

As for seeing what a batter has done previously when he/she comes to the plate: absolutely. Previous at bats are shown automatically when a batter comes to the plate. After the first pitch is thrown, it is not displayed any longer, but you can easily toggle this view on and off by tapping the batters name on the screen.

We are hoping the next release (now to be officially called 2.0) will be out within the next week... we are in final testing.

Prior to this release, we were doing a new release every couple weeks. This is a very major release however, and we have taken a little over a month with this one.

Thank you.

to the original post. The app handles fastpitch DP/Flex in its current release but I suspect will be even more intuitive with the next 2.0 release (which is in Apples hands).
