*bump*

Has there been any traction on this? I'm new to iScore and it doesn't look like it's in 4.x. Is the workaround described above still the best way to score boy/girl alternating lineup leagues?

Sorry to wake this old post from the dead... I am hoping that something had changed here since 2013.

I've been a paper scorer up until now, but I thought I would try out iScore for my Galaxy S7 Android and also for my iPad.

I sent this same question to iScore and got a reply saying that, "We do offer alternate male/female batting at this time. It is on our feature enhancement list." I can't find it.

The Android version does not have a way of specifying a player as male or female. The iPad version does allow me to specify a player as male or female; however, I can find no activation for playing an alternating lineup game. I also cannot find anything called "Feature Enhancement List."

Any new and additional help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

There is not an 'automated' way to do 'alternating' .. but you can manually alternate however you need as iscore provides free substitition .

(I think i recall a thread that touches on this topic in more detail. I will try and find later/tomorrow)

@SurfnWally - (or anyone else reading along) .. as this was an old thread you jumped in on, if you explain in more detail your current and specific Co Ed M-F-M batting rules/ constraints, I can try and provide updated advice on how you could best handle today in iScore.

It is true there is not an automated 'out of the box' M-F-M alternating mode in iScore, but looking back over this thread, there are many new features (eg., adjust score, skip batter, simultaneous subs, starting counts, etc. ) that have been added since this thread started. Additionally, many more years and games under the belt, my recommendations may be different now in how to handle .

as an example here is a thread from earlier this year on a variation of the M-F-M line up issue, in what they call A & B alternating players. . I would be glad to work through specifics on your M-F-M scenario .

From my understanding and research there is not a better value or product on the market to handle electronic co ed softball scoring. and glad to growth communities knowledge and use of iscore
