Most travel youth baseball teams around my area play in a league during the week and play in tournaments on the weekend. When the "league" option is offered, is that referring to individual tournaments, a regular league the team plays in, or is it to keep track of all teams in a particular league-- something, say, a league commissioner would need?

There is a league iscore app still being tested (ie for tournament directors or league directors) but that is different than the league manager function within the scoring app.

for an organization that hosts tournaments or multiple teams in a league, the "league director" product in development, is for those organizations. ( requires coordination of all games in league/tourney being scored on iscore to post all games from multiple teams to a central server for group stats (wins loss, standings, batting leaders etc )

I have just finished setting up a separate league for each tournament that the girls have been in, and a league for league play. I should have done it at the start of the year and it would have been easier, but nonethelless it is finished. After I finished each tournament I e-mailed the results to myself so that they could be printed off. However, when I finished e-mailing the results of 10 tournaments, I had 10 e-mails that all said cumulative stats but did not mention the tournament that they applied to.

Is it possible to add the ability to include a note with the e-mail, so that in this instance I would have said what tournament the stats applied to? This note possibility would also be useful when e-mailing the game sheets, etc. to the coach.

I am fairly new to iScore, but I've been thinking about the different tourney games our baseball team will be playing next year. I was trying to figure a way to be able to plan ahead for the above post. My thought was to change the name of the game (pregame screen) to include Tourney Name or code & also which Game of the tourney for the boys (as well as the team they played). Just a suggestion from a rookie with the APP. I think that is what you are talking about.

No that is not what I was suggesting. I created leagues for each of the 10 tournaments that the girls were in. I then accumulated the stats for each of these leagues and emailed these stats to myself. When I looked at the 10 emails on my computer I could not tell which email was for which league. They all said only cumulative stats.

I am suggesting that you be able to add a comment to the email so that in this case I could have said in the email which league each email pertained to. Perhaps when you want to sent an email from iScore it attaches the file that you are sending to you email program that you use every day that is on your phone or tablet. In this way you can comment on the attached file to your hearts content. You will also have a copy of that email in your sent folder which you do not get now when sending from within iScore.

I like the idea of adding an identifier to the cumulative stats emails.

Thank you for the suggestions... there are actually two things we are taking away from this. The ability to add your own comments to an email, and have it show which league(s) were selected when emailing the cumulative stats for a team.
