Just a quick question around the scoring of an error.
When an error is made in the field of the opposing team, I want to score the batter getting on base due to the error.
So I press "in play"
Error, touch the spot that the ball was hit to, touch the player that caused the error.
If there are runners on base already that advance due to the batter getting on with the error does the runner advance due to the batter, or due to the error?
Thanks in advance

Re: Runners Earning bases on an error
You can enter it either way. If the batter hit a ground ball to short, and the shorstop made a bad throw to first, the runners still advanced by batter. If there was an overthrow to first allowing the runners to advance an extra base, then you would more likely say advanced by error. When you enter multiple players advancing on a play with the error being on the same player, it is only counted as one error by iScore.

Okay that was my overall concern was that it would be entered against that defencesive player multiple times. Thanks for clarifying
