Softball illegal pitch

We had a couple of illegal pitch calls this past weekend. The result is a ball in the count and any runners on base advance one base. I did not see an illegal pitch option so I moved the runners with an error against the pitcher and scored a ball. (Noted the illegal pitch in a note.) Is there a better way to do this? Later I noticed the misc-balk option, but wasn't sure if baseball rules for a balk were the same. If they are, I can use that option in the future.

The Balk option can be used, and it will advance the runners a base. It does not give a ball though. You can assign a ball right after doing the Balk. You can slide your finger up across the ball after doing the balk to create an Intentional Ball if you want it to just look different.
