SBA defined

The legend for fielding stats on my stats page says SBA is "steal attempts". In other baseball documents I see it is "stolen bases allowed".

Is it the same thing? Means two different things to me, but I don't understand how iscore would know how many times a steal was attempted.

They are not the same thing. We use SBA as Stolen Base Attempts which would be Stolen Bases + Caught Stealing.
