Quick question: A swinging strike three is foul tipped into the catcher's glove. Is this a strikeout swinging (Ks) or a popup caught by the catcher (2 unassisted)?

Thanks!

It is a strikeout, swinging. Furthermore, if runners are advancing on the play, it remains live and the runners do not have to return to tag the base they left, e.g., stealing a base.

Echo turboAg. A caught foul tip has very specific meaning in baseball rules, (deflects straight back/ does not rise appreciably above catchers head) and it is not really foul at all when caught but a strike..and runners can try and steal.. If not caught then a foul..
