Why do I get the message "The game could not be loaded due..

The original version of iScore Baseball had an issue where a crash could cause a corruption of the data for a game. This problem manifest itself in two ways. First, users may not have been able to enter the game at all and any attempt to do so would cause a crash. Second when in a game, attempting to go to statistics would crash the app. The issue that caused these crashes and the subsequent game corruption have been fixed in the new release and the issue should not reoccur. The corrupted games from the first version however are still an issue. For a game with the first type of crash, where the game could not be entered, you will now see a message explaining the problem. These types of failure can be repaired. If you need to have this issue fixed please perform the following steps.

Click the Options button on the main menu.
Click Export and a popup will ask you to confirm.
Click OK and then wait for the next popup to tell you that the export is complete.
Then email us at support@fasterthanmonkeys.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false to let us know that your data has been exported. We will examine the data and attempt to repair it. Please include the name of the game where you are seeing the issue in your email.
After emailing us please do not change you data (add teams, players, games, etc..) because any changes will be overwritten when we later ask you to you import.
Once the data has been repaired we will email you to let you know the repair is ready.
You will then go to Options and click Import. Wait until the Popup message tells you that the application will now shut down and you can restart iScore.

The second issue where a crash occurred when accessing stats is more difficult to repair. If you are seeing a crash on a game from the first version when attempting to access stats please perform the steps outlined above and we will fix the database so that stats can be accessed without a crash. However the numbers for the stats may not add up simply because the data was not recorded properly due the bug in the first version.

Again this problem only applies to games scored in the first version. Games created and scored by the newest release will not expereince these issues.
