Stats order on website

How do I affect the order of players on the stats part of the website. We have played one game and the highest batting avg. players are at the top as they should be, but below that there are players with .000 avg that some have played in this game mixed up with players who only played in our exhibition. I would think the players with 0 games would go to the bottom.

Hey dan, I don't think we have any user control on the secondary sort column...
Obviously we can click on any column header and toggle sorting them ascending/ descending.

What would be a valid secondary sort? It seems someone with a 0.000 batting average that has only played 1 game is actually doing better than someone with a 0.000 batting average that has played 10 games.

I think that was dan's point, he said players with zero avg are mixed with players who have and have not played games..
For consideration, would number of at bats (or more precisely, plate appearances) be a good tie breaker for any stat, (higher sample size, more likely a true average)? Third/ final sort by alpha name?
(not a high priority in my mind but if tweaking, that is my thought)

+1 on this sort order. The primary sort would still be AVG for default unless the user clicked a particular column. The secondary sort would only kick in to break ties.
I would also like to add a request to have different sort orders on each category (batting/pitching/fielding)
For pitching, primary sort could default to ERA with ties broken by IP (or PIT).
For fielding, primary sort...ERR??? FP??? Ideas?

way to think ahead petro guy, was not thinking on fielding and pitching, i know they have them sorted differently than avg (of course)
for pitching, as secondary sort, never thought about it, but would i liked pitches (idea being the larger the sample set the better the averages, and pitches less than innings or games most likely to vary by tied ERA players. )
fielding, most opportunities would make most sense. not sure the right proxy for that, innings played?

Currently, pitching and fielding have the same sort order as batting (i.e. sorted by batting average) when the stats on the team website are first viewed. It isn't until you click a column to change the sort order in the pitching or fielding sections that they are sorted independent of batting sort order.
I agree that PIT rather than IP would be a good secondary sort for pitching.
For fielding, most opportunities would make sense for a secondary sort. IP isn't in the fielding stats currently. How about PO+A+ERR. That should be pretty close to opportunities. Primary sort of FP.
My bigger wish would be to have settings to allow each team to set their primary sort column and sort direction. For instance, I always want to sort on OPS-descending for batting, WHIP-ascending for pitching, and FP-descending for fielding. However, I know these are probably just my preferences. Anyway, I can dream, can't I?

The mix in with 0 games and 1+ games is the issue, certainly not a high priority on the FTM extensive user wish list.
games avg
1 .000
0 .000
0 .000
1 .000
1 .000
Good suggestions by both OhioTex and PetroGuy.

Has there been any movement on this? The stats on the device have a default order of AVG (batting), ERA (pitching) and fielding % (fielding), which is great, but on the website, only the batting stats are sorted this way. The pitching and fielding follow whatever the sort on the batting is. (So if your best hitter was actually your worst pitcher, he would be listed first in both sections.)
I understand the viewer can click any column to re-sort, but it would be nice if visitors could get a more accurate glimpse without having to do anything. Clearly the logic is there to do it, as the stats sort perfectly on the device itself. I agree with earlier poster that ideally the admin could set the default sort for each section.
Thanks!

We have updated the team websites to sort Pitching by ERA and Fielding by Fielding Percentage. We did not do anything for tiebreakers for now.
