How do I adjust the linuep for the following.
We have a kid that is had to leave after the third inning so I don't want to include him in the batting lineup after 3 innings.
In addition, I have a kid that did not play the first 3 innings that will be put into the lineup at the bottom of the order. Thanks for you help.

1) the kid leaving mid game is not a problem
when the player comes up to bat, choose misc, skip batter count as an out ? yes/no
repeat this each time the player comes to bat.. the scorecard and stats will all reflect this perfectly.
2) Adding a new batting order slot is not a problem if you have not yet batted around the order. but if you have batted through the order, then you can not add another batting position. ( I am assuming you are batting all, if you are batting 9 and manageing substitutions, then you can add players and substitute like normal)
example if you start with say 10 players, all batting = yes, and an 11th player comes late, before the last "10th batter" has batted, no problem. just use MISC > SHOW STARTING LINE UP > ADD PLAYER.
If however, you have batted through the line up and the first batter has batted a second time, then you can not change the number of players batting. it is "locked" at 10. Even if the player leaves, and is skipped, you can not add a new "row" to the scorecard after you have gone through the order once. sorry
This has been described multiple places in the forum, feel free to reply back if you have more questions...

Is there anyway to swap out the new kid for the kid that is leaving and move him down in the order?

sorta, but complicated.. stats should be ok but scorecard will look odd and may be hard to decode accurately
you would do this by making overly liberal use of offensive substitutions in iscore.
so for example: 10 players intially all batting, already batted through the order once, and you know you have the 11th man showing up before the 5th hole batter leaves you would.. before the leaving player bats , (eg batter in slot #5) , you would ...
sub in batter in number 6 slot for #5 slot,
sub in batter in number 7 slot for #6 slot,
sub in batter in number 8 slot for #7 slot
sub in batter in number 9 slot for #8 slot,
sub in batter in number 10 for slot #9 slot
, and then add a NEW PLAYER and assign them batting slot #10.
this keeps the natting number the same at 10.
thise assume the batter left before the new player showed up and had to bat.
like i said, not straight forward.
