Substituting for a Designated Hitter

Post by EMS-Medic » Sat Jul 28, 2018 8:49 pm

When I sub for the DH, how do I enter it so that it shows the player is now the DH going forward?

I pinch hit for the DH in the 8th inning and the player remained in the game in the DH position.

After exporting, it shows the starting DH, as the DH for all nine innings on the boxscore and the Pinch Hitter not listed as the DH at any time.

Thanks again,

good point. the box score notation , including the DH, PH, PR, DP/FLEX changes over time has opportunity for improvement that has been mentioned before., Including indenting subs. common practice in most box scores.. i do not have high hopes it is top of improvement list but i do know it and related topics on box score have been suggested.

In my view, this is a serious bug. Still seems to exist in v.5.185. Really screws up scoring, esp in college baseball where pinch hitting for the dh is pretty common.

Thanks,
Tony
